For yourself or anyone interested, Translations are a bit out of scope for me right now, and that is the reason the game's text is stored in the JSON files in the games directory. They can be opened and edited in a text editor. So if anyone wanted to do a fan translation, they can. While I appreciate the offer, I do think translations are something that should be paid for down the line once all the writing is done.
