Such a fun and creative concept! I really want to enjoy it to the fullest, but unfortunately it crashes sometimes and a few buttons stop working midway :(( The theme music is a great choice though—super cute and relaxing. I hope you keep improving it, because this feels like a really solid game project. Keep up the great work!

This is dad. He's seeing these comments. Thanks for the comment by the way.

He intends to continue on the game after the game jam is over, fixing the bugs and such. Thanks for giving it a try!

I got as far as I could, but sadly there's a recurring bug where the none of the buttons work after some time, softlocking you and forcing you to Alt-F4. I managed to play a bit of the tutorial though, which was actually really solid. It was intuitive, simple, and effective. I also like that it's hands-on and makes you figure out how to craft things yourself. Making a good tutorial is no easy feat, so you should be proud of it! If you decide to do a post-jam patch that fixes the buttons I'd love to play it more thoroughly! :D

This is dad. Thanks for posting. Yeah being his first 'Jam,' he got a little behind on it. He's never had to calculate a finish date or anything before with his work so most of the games he makes and other stuff he codes he just works on them for a long time until they're mostly ironed out.

He'll read this message. Thanks for your time!

This is a fun idea! I enjoyed it and would have played but ran into some issues. One thing is the tutorial seems to get stuck when it talks about the recipes screen. I had a few issues at that point and had to quit and restart the game. In the actual game after I got the construct a sword I couldn't seem to feed it. Also I think maybe if the trees and large rocks were a bit smaller it would help because they block so much of the view. But this is a cool idea and I can see the fun in it. You should keep working on it.
