Danse Macabra is a PnP social deduction horror game set entirely in the Macabre Carnival. Players are masked visitors uncovering if rumors are true: feriantes are restless spirits hiding behind masks/costumes, attractions/games trade souls/memories (not money), and nightfall unleashes the Danse Macabre—a maddening performance where masks fall, skeletons dance eternally, beckoning souls to join forever.
Core implementation:
Spirits & Masks: 9 unique Masks (roles) with powers (e.g., Witch peeks roles, Clown bluffs better)—spirits in disguise, granting abilities like access/bluffs (souls/memories traded via kills).
Soul-Stealing Attractions: Cards like Mirror House/Ghost Duck Shoot = "minigames" where kills place visible Skulls (soul theft), with consequences (death, doubt via ?).
Nightfall Climax: Killers win via Danse Macabre narrative ("Masks fall! Skeletons dance eternal Danse. Souls collapse!") when ≤2 alive with ≥1 Killer—protagonists "discover" the myth is true.
Did you implement any of your Theme's Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
Masks and Costumes: 9 Masks with effects (powers like peek roles, plant ?, block actions—special abilities).
Carnival Games: Day cards (Dolls bluff "innocent", Traps defend, Collective Vote/Partial Reveal = minigames for accusation/doubt).
Danse Macabre: Explicit win condition/narrative with "dancing skeletons" (narrated finale).
