I liked the dialogue and character portraits! I also liked the snowball pushing puzzle, I will never not pop off on a RPGMaker pushing puzzle :P

The portraits were really nice.

Fun entry! I loved the Sea Witch's dialogue and facial expressions. A small nitpick is I felt "..." was a too common, sometimes just when interacting with things? Maybe I just don't understand what it's conveying.

Side note: Enjoyed reading your devlog! Sorry to hear you lost a lot of work. One thing that has worked well for us is to have a github account (free) and push all the files there every day or so. Besides backing things up, you also get a version history of everything so if your mind about something, it's pretty easy to go back in time :)

Thank you for your feedback! Most of "..." in interactions were indicators for drafts, I think I may have left some in a rush. Definitely wouldn't stay in a final version I hope.

Thank you again for your suggestions with github. I never really thought of it, but it sounds so much better than using cloud storages! I'll definitely give it a try.

Have a good day.

Great game! The music really sets the mood, and I like how the game mechanics are simple but fun. I ran into a game breaking error, but aside from that it was an amazing game! Here is a screenshot of the error in  case you need it.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! I'll try to fix the error ASAP, but thankfully that was about the end of the game as well (I basically have no script after that 😅) I'm glad you enjoyed the gameplay.

Have a good day.

I got a missing file error which froze the game when examining the wardrobe in the small room after the snowman puzzle so I had to quit there but I was enjoying it and played enough to give feedback and rating for the jam.

I like how the writing and the story is good overall. It will be interesting to see how the dynamic between the two characters develops as the game progresses.

The puzzles are simple, yet effective and well thought out.

Overall I would say it's a good effort for your first game and jam so congrats on a good job so far :)
