So much more therapeutic than strip mining in Minecraft. 0 torches needed.
Only suggestion I have is to add space as jump. Right now, the combination of A + D keys plus up arrow is a bit strange.

The game is pretty big, try scaling it down in the window?
In the settings, under the Video tab, there's an option to increase the Field of View (which zooms in the camera) to make the game looks bigger. Hope this helps!
No as in, decrease the windows ize, it is very very big
