As noted by others the game is great! And only coyote jump would have made it perfect!

there appears to be a bug in your game, as soon as i release spacebar the player teleport to the start.
Edit: I figured it out, the jump with W key is working fine.

Hello,

This does not appear to be a bug. The issue is likely related to your frame rate settings. Please make sure your FPS is set to 60 or 90, as the game mechanics depend on a stable frame rate. Once adjusted, you should be able to play normally without the player resetting position.

Thank you for your understanding.

pretty cool game,it is a bit harsh on the player since you have to jump with perfect timing, but otherwise pretty nice, good job!

The concept is pretty cool, I love how you implemented the illusion theme into an uplifting theme.

One thing that could improve this game by a ton would definitely be adding a coyote jump feature, as some of the jumps kinda felt hard without it.

Thank you for your kind words and detailed feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed how the illusion theme was integrated with an uplifting experience.

Regarding the coyote jump feature, that’s a great suggestion. I understand how some jumps can feel challenging without it, and I’ll definitely consider adding it to improve the game’s flow and make platforming feel more responsive.

I had fun with this. But the level design was pretty bland, most of them were almost exactly the same, just the one jump-and-toggle trick over and over. There’s so much more you could do with this mechanic.

Also, not a serious complaint, but what’s the deal with “Please wait to continue…”? Why not allow starting the next level immediately?

Changing the music when you toggle is a great touch, totally works.

Thank you for your detailed feedback, I really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.

Regarding the "Please wait to continue…" message, it’s intentionally designed to give players a moment to read and reflect on the message or meaning behind each level, rather than immediately skipping ahead.

I also appreciate your comments on the level design and the mechanic we’ll definitely take that into consideration for future improvements. Glad to hear you enjoyed the music toggle feature!

Very cool premise! I think the game might be running on 4x speed for me, though.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback. It seems the game may be running faster due to a high frame rate. You might want to limit your screen’s frame rate to 60 or 90 FPS to achieve a smoother and more consistent experience.
