I immediately started by playing it like Rhythm Doctor-Mode. Realized that didn't work. Switched to Muse Dash-Mode and felt much better. But in reality, I was indeed playing both.

Two complaints. The first complaint is... I wish the levels were longer + more variety. The whole idea and concept overall were AMAZING. I could probably see myself playing this at an arcade for a long time and not even get bored of it. I think more variety of levels, obstacles, or even different notes would have amplified my experience. Jumping over sawblades and hitting the battery was quite the simple start, and I could only imagine how much longer I could have had fun with more variety.

And my other complaint is how somewhat "off-beat" some notes were. There were many cases where I'd get an "Awesome" and not see as many "Perfects." For someone who grinded rhythm games, I feel as if the timeframe before the awesome and perfect ratings were really off. Especially considering how the music itself didn't seem to match with the battery positions and whatnot.

No bugs either. It seems like you did a lot of polishing, which is always nice to see. And the idea you were going with this overall seems like a great way to continue onward with development.

Overall, a STRONG 8/10. I hope you continue developing, and I hope your game soars!

Thanks for the feedback!! Yea I took inspiration for both games since I like their ideas. I want to address those complaints as well, first one yea I really want to make the levels with more variety, even more levels actually. I wanted to add sustain notes and a note that you can't hit (actually the this note is already in the game files, is called bomb) but was not implemented properly specially because the way I was making the charts. Since I didn't know how to create a proper level editor, I used one called beatrice. I a good level editor but has some limitations, to get the ideia the lane 3 on the beatrice editor I use to define the saw notes and the first and second lane is for notes to hit. For the second complain yea, like I explain some stuff I didn't know at first, specially with timings. And I don't know much about charting and making a level that was fun, balanced and synced. Overall I'll probaly will continue developing this game since the reception was too good of what I was expecting. Thank you again for playing and glad you like it :)

Nice rhythm game, I enjoyed especially the "cry", groovy slow dark synth with retro jumping dj robot.

My feedback is similar to others about making the control scheme explicit in the tutorial. For example, when the first beat comes, put the D, K Space Key inside a pulsating circle suggesting the player to press it. It will become immediately obvious how to play the game.

Thank you for sharing your game, keep making games and enjoy the process!

Thanks for the feedback! I added this to my list of what I need to change if I ever think to create a "full ass release" of it. I plan to add like binds and everything because, I know. This control scheme may sucks for some people. and yea add a tutorial and more stuff on the game may be good too. Anyway I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

Not sure if I missed this somewhere, but controls are D for top row, K for bottom row, and Space for jump. Good game, I liked the music and little hopping sound effect

Developer

Thanks for liking the game and no! that are the controls, D top row, K bottom row, Space jump.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, honestly I got a lot of inspirations from other games, specially muse dash where you use the "top lane" as jump, so I thought add the jump button instead, also yea I probably could do better on tutorial, was planned to be added a tutorial with all the buttons appearing but instead I was focusing more on bug fixing. I'm waiting for more feedback and overall to see if is worth put more effort on this project because the idea is really good.
