Visually on point. interesting idea giving us a place to type and give a different result. BUT it felt very slow paced. Even just turning the animation speed up 2x would have made me more interested in finishing it.

I like the art style, as an important message. At first I thought that I have to type a message then saw it was auto generated, it was a nice experience.

Developer

thanks, glad to hear :)

I can't speak eipstinian

This really shows things that are unconfortable in an uncomfortable way. And you made a very good "gameplay" by making people type but the words where someone else's

Developer(+1)

thanks! yes, it's uncomfortable for sure, which is probably a tough choice for a jam. but it felt good making something with a message :)

Holy crap, chills, what a poignant critique of the state of the world, coupled with a message of hope.  I love how  you used the aesthetic to cause a sense of unease that is very much needed for this kind of telling.

Developer(+1)

very kind of you, thanks :) I'm glad to hear that the hopeful ending came through, that is the main point!

Has a really eery feel to it with the sound and visual design which I like. It does feel less like a game than a video I'm watching but I like the interpretation of the theme! The increase in redactions is a nice touch as well.

Developer

thank you :) for sure, I had so many other ideas to bring more actual gameplay into this, but there wasn't enough time (or experience). maybe in another project!

Great sound and art! It makes the game have a creepy atmosphere.  Easy to follow storytelling. :)

thank you for your kind words :)

Interesting concept, execution could be improved

Developer

thanks for your comment! yeah, I ran into a bunch of things that could be more polished and also had lots more ideas to implement, but alas, the scope of the jam didn't allow it

Nice art concept

Developer

thanks for your feedback :)

I loved the typing mechanic

Developer

thanks! :) it was probably the easiest thing to implement in this game lol

This is not quite a game in the traditional sense, but rather a lightly interactive film. Still, it is very atmospheric and interesting. I would move the main button from the lower-left corner to a more obvious place and make its function clearer: both what it does and the fact that you are supposed to press it after writing a message.

Developer

thank you for your feedback!

Submitted(+1)

Yes, may be a little arrow in the first message, saying some "press here to send"

Thanks, I came here to have some fun. Now I have a new found awareness of things going wrong ...

I love the execution on the topic. Must have been a ton of work to get the art right.

Developer

yeah it's a heavy topic... I'm usually all for quirky and cute games myself, but this felt like the right thing to make at the moment :) thanks for playing!
