Interesting take on the art direction, definitely eye-catching. On browser, the game currently lags a lot, especially audio-wise, and I feel like the first couple of rounds could be easier since they force you to tank a lot of damage that just isn't replentished. Other than that, it was a fun game to play!

Loved the game, I think it fit the theme well, was fun, and pretty polished. Only complaint is that for me on the web the sound is choppy. Could just be the device I played on though. Overall a 10/10 from me.

I am porting an android version and Windows/Linux version.  The HTML5 is a mess.   I tried to fix the lag, but it isnt working.  For me it sets in around wave 16 or so

you've got no clue how much I love this kind of art direction

You have no clue how much I love you (not in a creepy way)

I tried several times, but I always let enemies through to the base in the first round. The money rewarded for enemies is a bit low—maybe I didn't understand how to earn money. I didn't understand what food and population are for, what they do. I'd like WASD controls, not just mouse. Also, the game sometimes stutters.

You are so right.... I am contemplating making the first 10ish rounds easier.  But I kinda like the force damage in first round.  I see you found my strat, just making as many hillbilly huts as possible in the early game.  I love it!
