Heya, congrats on the submission...
The gameplay and the soundtrack was genuinely relaxing. Loved the floral artwork that came with the name of flowers! Loved the Poppies (Klaproos) btw.
Nice and quite coherent backstory.
Great job!

Is this future (in your game) possible?
Yes
Really liked the gameplay, after I understood that it works better with clicking instead of holding the mouse button. Had a nice moment when there were a few plants growing in the same direction and it felt like I have some green friends taking a walk together. I love the procedural generation
Notes from gameplay:
Overall, I found this delightful and a great use of time within our tight constraints. The art style is simple but very cohesive and effective, the music is sparse but haunting, and the overall result is absolutely beautiful! Awesome work!
Heyyy thanks for the feedback
the art is handmade - painted on paper and digitized
font overall could do with an upgrade
mooi is Dutch for beautiful
the music is an homage to Music for Airports by Brian Eno, which felt very fitting for the airstrip - it is using a tiny generative sampler engine fed through our White Rabbit reverb DSP
Yes very common native wildflowers - the yellow bunches are boerenwormkruid or tansy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tansy I choose it because it is yellow
I am so happy you left it as a screensaver :-)
no engine - straight C++, NanoVG, OpenGL running on WASM

Wow! What a beautiful little experience. The way that the flowers grow and move semi-chaotically is great, it takes a bit to get used to but after a while it starts to feel like a collaboration between you and the plant. beyond this, the visuals and music are amazing!!
