Enjoyable and immersive
Thanks!
I didn't know that we had to use the trigger to open/close the boxes
Thanks for playing and the feedback :-)
We didn't have too much time to get instructions in the game itself, and just put the instructions on the game page on Itch.io, but you're not the only one to have trouble figuring this out
Unfortunately, on the windows build with steamvr and a bigscreen beyond 2, for some reason the game's view doesn't render correctly, being oddly stretched on the bottom ~60% of the screens. Didn't see any errors in the console, not sure why it'd break on this setup.
Hrm, interesting. I don't have a Bigscreen Beyond 2 to test, but I'll give the current build a try in Steam VR again next time I boot into Windows. Thanks for giving it a try and the report!
I’ve encountered this issue too, so I played on the standalone Meta version when I tried out this game, but I think this is caused by checking dynamic resolution in project settings. Try unchecking it, and see if playing by Steam VR still causes that stretching issue.
Very nice idea and smooth gameplay.
Congrats!
Thanks!
Watching the tapes rewind was fun and shooting the gun at the correct shelf was satisfying, I do love the nostalgia of what you're going for. I was a little confused when the
demons started appearingbut it was goofy non the less, good job guys! Thanks!
Yeah, we were planning for a much more dramatic transition when the demons start invading, but didn't have time to include it :-)
Great game, I really liked the idea of restocking shelves with the tape launcher. Feels extremely satisfying how they align perfectly along the shelves. Also reloading the launcher by rewinding the tapes, putting it in, and then loading it onto the launcher feels good to do. I also thought it was interesting that the launcher had a double purpose of being used to shoot floating enemies.
Thanks!
Interesting idea, good polish
Thanks!
quite funny idea for a game, liked the gameplay loop of "reloading" the gun
Thanks!
This was a lot of fun! Here's a recording of my playthrough.
Thanks! It was really great to watch your playthrough :-)
