i've been wanting to make a game for a long time, so i guess it's a pretty good time to start !

i've read some of you guys will use GDvelop so i think i will do the same ! but what are you using to make music ? i want to make it myself, as bad as a first try could possibly go ! any free recommendation ?

i'm personally using an online site called beepbox it can be sometimes clunky but it's on the web, free and pretty simple. I'm thinking about trying out something like garage band but for now beepbox is all i've been using

i use FL studio for my music, but there are pretty good free alternatives out there, i used LMMS when i was first dipping my toes into the whole music thing. its pretty similar to FL studio

I'm gonna use GDevelop too because of its intuitive and rather simple coding system! As for music, I'd personally recommend Bosca Ceoil, as it is extremely simple and perfect for beginners since you can learn it in like 30 minutes. Only thing is that it's designed for game music with more of a retro feel, but I still think it's a good option.
