Very nice old school game and good use of the theme, was very surprised you had time to make so many weapon types AND a boss. also sidenote i dig the flock of bird animation and the grenadier explosion, nice work!

Really stylish! It reminds me of an old-school game, in a good way. I honestly had a lot of fun playing it. I could definitely see this becoming a full game, both on PC and even on mobile.

Nice implementation of the theme, I enjoyed it, keep it up!

I really like the copy unit feature, and the fact you can get items to prolong how long you copied the ability. I kept the airstrike ability to the boss and it became a very easy fight.

The game was pretty cool! I got softlocked in a corner midway through though (a force started pushing me to the contrary direction to my facing, and eventually I found myself unable to move at the corner of the map) so that was a bit of a bummer

Cool implementation of the theme! It was fun running around and trying to steal the weapon I wanted from enemies (mortars were my fav). Only major issue I had was finding the camera movement a bit awkward when moving into a new area. Fun game, well done!

I'm just bad and need git gud so i couldn't beat it, but to point i got to it was fun. Could be expanded  into a full game with tons of enemies in future.

This is pretty good, I really liked the music

Good game i found the tutorial in game very nice. The theme is well implemented. I also like the enemy copying feature, and the music and graphics are nice. I did find one bug where my character moved in one direction without me pressing any keys on the keyboard.

Glad you liked the game! Somehow we never encountered this bug but will definitely investigate to fix it.

Fun concept, felt like a top-down Kirby lol. The enemy variety was nice; the gun guy was definitely my favorite. The tutorial room was simple but effective. The controls were smooth. Impressive game for the short jam time and good take on the theme.

Thanks for playing and even I like the gun guy! There's a plush Kirby on our desk! What a coincidence.

Incredible game made in such a short time, it’s really awesome. I love the character animations, the music, and the intro tutorial is very well done.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing!

Good use of the theme.

Camera tracking could be better. Sometimes I had to walk to the edge of the map for the camera to move, but then I cant see the enemies in the next room.

You can lock yourself in the tutorial rooms. Maybe the room where you have to shatter your weapon should unlock the next door when you shatter any weapon there. Shattering your weapon next to an enemy can knock them out of the room. Which leaves you no way of leaving the tutorial.
