The art is unreal! You managed to create such an evocative mood and large feeling space (but the mural is a particular favourite!) Such a cool and unexpected entry. Hope you had fun jamming! Will definitely check out your future games :)

Also sidenote: your itch collection of videogame favourites is great - i love to see taste on my timeline!

Developer

Oh my gosh thank you for your kind words! And thank YOU for hosting this jam, I had an absolute blast making something for it and playing everyone’s submissions!

Wow, the art is so incredible and captivating - I was drawn into this world, and parts of it felt so familiar in ways. The narration/dialogue worked well to complement and build the world along with the visuals. The music was a perfect fit; exploring, anticipating, accepting. A really impressive and memorable submission!

Beautiful. I feel like i could stay there all day.

Developer

Aw thank you! I wanted it to end in a kind of calm, patient atmosphere, so I’m happy to hear it had that effect!

Absolutely gorgeous, great work.

Developer

Thank you for playing it!

This game is beautiful, and filled with detail, there’s an amazing feel to it, and it feels really polished, with music that just gave to the whole atmosphere. Absolute masterpiece.

Developer

Thank you! I had a lot of fun with those backgrounds, although didn’t leave myself much time for other assets. I’m so grateful to Hypertelex for the music, and happy that people enjoyed it!

Love the artwork and setting for the game. Great take on the theme. Everything feels very grounded. Great job!

Thank you!!!

The setting and artwork for this game is gorgeous. The tunnel in particular with the small details and descriptions on the walls really made it feel lived in. Beautiful game, and great entry

Developer

Thank you! I got a little bit too into drawing those murals haha. The locations are based on half-remembered places around the town I grew up in. Although the real-life underpass I based that one on doesn’t have an yu-gi-oh! art, sadly

I had already played this game together with HarukiNoVirus, and I completely agree with everything they said! The artwork, the setting, the music, and the overall theme are truly beautiful and poetic. I really hope to see more works like this from you in the future!

Just a small note, maybe for a future update or if you revisit the game after the jam, it would be great to have a way to adjust the volume. It starts quite loud, and I honestly jumped out of my chair at first haha. But aside from that, amazing work, congratulations!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Ooh, I appreciate you letting me know about the volume too. I code on a pretty old laptop with quiet speakers, so my baselines for quiet/loud audio are probably way off. Definitely something I’ll aim to fix after the jam!

Wow! The vibes here are immaculate! The scenes you've created are gorgeous, and the music complements them very well. My only critique is that it would have been nice to have more ambient sound effects to give the world life. Even something as simple as an occasional breeze rustling the leaves in the trees or birds singing would go a long way to further enrich the atmosphere.

Developer

Thank you so much! I’m so grateful to my friend for the music track–and agreed, if I revise this I’d love to create more of a soundscape in each area.

The art style and the music complemented each other well. A cozy and relax experience.

Developer

Yay thank you for playing!

Such a gorgeous game. Really chill the whole way through, and the music matched that mood perfectly. I liked the little touch of the sun cursor opening its eyes when something could be interacted with. Also, the dialogue regarding the character's house while sitting by the radio was way too relatable to my jam entry lol.

Developer

Thank you so much! I had a lot of fun drawing the sun cursor (I’m obsessed with sun symbols). And, oh gosh, same–I added that line of dialogue pretty late in the jam. It’s probably an accurate reflection of where I was at by that point, too.

Really beautiful art and great vibes on this one

Thanks so much!

This game is a work of art, it’s very cozy. It makes me want to print the images and decorate my living room with them because of how beautiful it is. Congratulations, it has been a lovely experience.

Developer

Oh my gosh, thank you, this is so sweet!

I really liked the art and I appreciate a contemplative game.

Thank you for playing it!

I'm a sucker for athmospheric point and click adventure games, and this one is a really nice one for it's length, the music and art are incredible and the introspective, and almost cynical at times (as far as my understanding, i might love these games but it takes a while for me to decypher meaning in writing), writing style really sells the feel of waiting for a storm to come, almost accepting a "terrible inevitability". I would love to see more stuff like this from you!

Developer

Thank you so much! I’m really glad the weird sense of anticipation for the stormy weather came through!
