Might be a little too intense for background music, it reminded me more of like film score music

DeveloperSubmitted

Yeah I def agree with that; I started out with trying to make a light short piece that would fit in a youtube video but ofc, as I usually do, the music ended up getting quite out of hand :P

This tune is also fire btw! I can't put in the time that I put in to analyze this one that I did for the other one, but it's pretty awesome that you were able to make TWO  such fleshed out compositions in a week. Sounds a bit like Aaron Copland actually!

DeveloperSubmitted(+1)

Thanks a lot! It was supeerrr difficult to compose two pieces, let alone in a week, and I don't think I'll ever be attempting that again lol. Now that I think of it, I do see some Copland in this as well!

Submitted

This is actually incredible! I have no idea how you managed to compose this in a week!

DeveloperSubmitted

Thanks man! I genuinely dunno how I composed this under a week either; what I do know is that my sleep schedule for that one week was pretty bad...

Submitted

ohh very cool, i love the use of an orchestra

DeveloperSubmitted

Ya! I also play in an orchestra so it's cool to see all the different instruments coming together to play something :)

This song feels so cinematic, definitely feels like something to would play in a movie! Great Job!🔥

this is actually phenomenal, i did NOT expect a movie composition being submitted for this jam, plus the fact that those 5 minutes felt more like 2 minutes, actually insane work
good job mans!

DeveloperSubmitted

Thank you so much! :D

I need the sheet music for this lol. Very good work man

DeveloperSubmitted (2 edits) (+1)

Thank you, and here's the sheet music! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1COf937wtZuDi97yo9XKWMFtsDdJkjhAL/view?usp=shari...

Just so you know, there might be a few mistakes regarding orchestral scoring here and there cuz, ya know, the one week time crunch and all...

DeveloperSubmitted

Just wanted to mention that the range of dynamics in this piece is quite large so you might need to raise or lower your volume a bit in some parts. I completely forgot to take care of that while editing the wav file, sry bout that D:

When its peak, you'll do anything to listen😎

DeveloperSubmitted

Well that makes me feel at least a lil better 😮‍💨

Submitted

This sounds like something that would play in a movie! Great job! :D

DeveloperSubmitted

Thx! Glad you enjoyed it :)
