I think I could get addicted to this genre, whatever it is. The whole idea is cool and innovative, it felt like planning an executing a burglary. However, I would make the surveillance / staking part replayable and maybe even have an option to rewind and fast-forward, because the player has to do multiple things (find the targets, draw routes, check and memorize the movement of the inhabitants) and I struggled to do all. For the first time I was surprised when it cut to the infiltration part because I was just observing and didn't yet draw anything. The narrative parts were well-written and funny, with a few typos here and there. The audio really supported the whole atmosphere.

Very cool! I didn't quite understand the mechanic the first time, but it was quick to restart and really fun to play once I got it. And the audio cues were perfect. Really well done.

Had a blast with this one, lovely art style and sound design, very interesting mechanic and a great implementation of the theme. The mouse follow mechanic could be a bit more forgiving, as the "busted" range. I love that our games have pretty similar ideas. Great submission!

Thanks you for the feedbacks ! Funny we had similar ideas :)

Excellent idea! Well done!

Amazing! I loved everything about it. Mr Blue house gave me some trouble but managed to finish the game. Perfect!

Really cool game! Overall I thought this was a fantastic entry. Some things I liked:

  • Artstyle & audio
  • The mechanics were simple & easy to pick up
  • Good level of difficulty (so it was super fun)

Some ideas for improvements (there's not many!):

  • It was a little confusing having the entrances and exits both be marked with the same "extract here" sprite
  • Sometimes I felt the player hitbox was a little too big and/or the doors were too small. Perhaps making the player hitbox something more rounded (if it isn't already) could held the player push past objects easier without losing the mechanic of trying to avoid objects

That being said this was really really fun and an amazing game!

Thank you for the feedback ! Really apreciated

For your improvements ideas :

  • You are right for the entrance/exit sprite, we could differentiate them
  • The player hitbox is already rounded. We already shrunk it a little to pass through door more smoothly but maybe not enough
And yeah, it is also a component of the difficulty to have smaller doors. It is a balance to be found !

Fantastic overall experience with strong design across visuals, sound, and gameplay, all built on a clear and solid core idea. It really feels polished and cohesive, and it’s easy to see this doing very well.

I liked this game, has a lotta of personality. I don't think you should be able to see where the other people are in their rooms, given that you can't even see 2 feet in front of you lol

Developer(+1)

Good suggestion ! We didn't think of that
Thank you for playing !

This is definitely one of my favorites in this jam! The presentation is top notch, the humour is also fantastic. Like LowVoltage said, cheesing by drawing the walls makes things easier, but nonetheless an awesome game, loved everything about it!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much ! So glad you enjoyed it :)

great game! I love the concept of not being able to see and having to draw your own lines it's great

Developer

Thank you :)

Very original - took me a couple tries to figure out how to play it, but then it was very clear. Great style and theme interpretation!

Developer(+1)

We didn't spend enough time on tutorialization, kind of rushed it...
thank you for your feedback !

Great experience overall, with good decisions in all design aspects; sound effects, music, visuals and gameplay are all well done and it shows there was a solid idea from the get go. This will do well!

Submitted(+3)

Great concept and theme interpretation! I loved the art and sound, too. I didn't manage to beat the third level, but I had fun nonetheless.

Great work!

So cool! Very interesting interpretation of the theme!

I really like the minimalist art style, it really suits the game. The controls are also simple enough to get it very quickly. Really satisfying to play around!

I did find you can sorta cheese it if you trace the layout of the house instead of making a path, but maybe that's just my style of play haha. Maybe it would be more challenging if you only had a certain amount of ink to use? Still, it's a minor observation.

Great writing also! Entertaining but not annoying.

Congrats! Really well executed!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot !

We didn't want the game to be too difficult, we simplify the levels at the very end.

This is great game. Feels good. Controls is nice. Good job

This game has potential. The art style is perfect for this game. I wonder how others draw their map. I marked every spot, drew a way to every spot and marked every door position if I have to quickly get away I know where they are. The third house was more challenging because of the layout but it was fun!

Great work!

Developer

Thanks for playing ! For the drawings, I did pretty much the same when testing the game. Did you manage to beat the third level ? We were a bit worried that it would be too hard.

The gameplay fits the theme perfectly. I love the unique concept, and the art and sound create a great atmosphere. Really fun!
