Loved the addition of a narrative via the opening cutscene - added some enjoyable flavour to the game. You made a cool and fun system to play with here, and a decent foundation to build a more complex upgrade system from. Letting us name turtles was also a really fun touch!
This game is really cute, kind of reminds me of Chao gardens from sonic adventure. I really like the noises the turtles make, and the intro cutscene is 10/10. I love your art style!

more skins, get born by eggs instead of just spawning, special abilities to the player, and buildings to mess around with the turtles

Is there a limit on how many turtles you can have? I hit 50 turtles and the game started lagging really hard.
there's not a limit. but it starts lagging a lot as you said. ill try something to make it less laggy.
The cutscene is adorable and really funny haha! The game itself is super cute! pure chaos in the best way.

Very direct and chill use of the theme, i dig it. By the end my screen was entirely full of boop sounds and turtles of various sizes with nametags ₊˚⊹♡ Hope you enjoyed the jamm

The little mew sound the turtle makes when placed made me go AWWWW out loud. Good work for a few days! It was a little bit unclear what to do, but with some clicking around i figured it out. good luck!

It’s an ambitious idea and it’s original, congrats. It might be a bit too much for such a short jam, and it might be a game that’s too large to properly polish in such a short time, but it’s still nice to see something different.

Charming intro cutscene and game. Interesting concept too. Good job getting it done in only 4 days. It was fun naming my turtle silly names and trying to save up for the pricier turtles lol.

I didn't think that naming turtles dumb names and watching them grow with that awesome sfx would be so much fun. It was. Game started lagging a bit at 50 turtles but i got to over a 100 and got the most expensive skin xd. 10/10
