As what others said I am also having issues with the camera and no player on the screen :(
Sadly I cant really rate this game. I heard the character jumping but couldnt see him. I restarted mor then once but it was still the same issue. The art (which I saw) was nice :)
As the other mentioned there's issues with the camera, and the platforming challenges are a bit samey. Other than than it has the retro feel so good job with that. It's a cute little game!
Like many other games the jumping could feel a bit more precise, coyote time and jump buffering would help for instance.
It is a shame the game is a bit broken, it totally has all the necessary things, but alas, sometime you just stuck at some transition and no obvious way forward. It is also not obvious when the edge of the screen is a wall or not a wall. Despite that it is a good fun platformer, well done!
I got stuck on camera transition,
but from what I could play I thought it was nice
It was sort of a metroidvania but a little more linear.
I liked the idea.
This imitates retro platformers quite well, my only issue is the camera transitions aka whata everyone is complaining about lol.
Great job nontheless, quite fun :)
I liked what I could play, it felt satisfying and I liked the sense of place / theme. Multiple times though I got stuck during camera transitions between screens and couldn't continue.
I was confused because i couldnt see the player, glad i opened the comments xD.
At first I couldn’t see the player character, but after following your comment and moving right and then left, the game started working. I was able to play and ended up clearing it. It was quite fun!
im so sorry we submitted the game with the player in a different place for debbuging, to play please move to the right then to the left, it should fixit, so sorry again
The game seems to start on the wrong screen, so you cannot see your player, if you keep pressing left and jump it will eventually "fix" itself.
Sound effects could use a bit of work. Some music would have helped. Jumping is a bit stiff while walking is a bit floaty. Lost interest about half way in the 2nd stage, due to too many "walk of the edge of a platform and then jump up to the next one" which is a fun challenge once or twice, but felt like 20 times in a row at some point.
There is no character, but have jumping sfx
Hmm... seems like something is missing here. There is no character to control. What is this game about?
