The first time I woke up that guy and seeing it coming at me I tried to (slowly) run/drive away. The atmosphere is spot on! On my second try I went past it but everytime I made a lot noise my eyes were wide open and luckly I did not wake it up.
The resident evil camera perspective style is also a really great touch!
Good job!
I really liked the idea and gameplay of remotely controlling a robot, and even though the game made it clear, my character is not even there, just the robot, it still made me very nervous. I have ambivalent feelings about the level design, because it really captured the claustrohpobic vibes of navigating the quarantined hospital well, I think you could play around with the layout and especially the textures to communicate the indended direction more clearly. Of course this is subjective and maybe others didn't have this issue, but it took way too long for me to realize where to go in the first room. But I still had lots of fun with it, in the anxious, pissing-my-pants way. Sound was an important part of that, I liked the various little noises and the enemy sounds. One more thing, I think you should pause the clock while the tutorial is ongoing.
I liked the atmosphere you put there. It really brings that mystery feeling that something is about to happen at anytime.
I was genuinely shocked when the corpse on the ground came after me, was not expecting that. The camera recording GUI was a great touch, I liked the extra camera angle hacking. The only issue I really ran into with it was some physics engine jank, but that is an engine issue.
I thought the controls were fine and hacking the cameras to get a better view is a great idea. You really nailed the atmosphere as well, it kept me engaged until I could beat it. You have a good direction and foundation here. I hope you continue to work on it!
Really cool idea and nice polish! though I found it to be quite hard, I kept making a noise going through the front and then struggling to navigate well enough to not die after the monster aggroed on me
Love horror games, and once I figured out how to move more quietly, I was able to get through a decent chunk I think! I was very spooked. I wish there were an easier way to de-aggro enemies, as I was able to do it once by going all the way outside. Or maybe if I could push them back with my arm. Still, love the concept!
i honestly quite liked the tank controls game-feel, its unique and the visuals accompanying it really sold it. but getting bodied by enemies i cant even see feels bad and to erase all the progress, i couldnt beat it. i wouldve liked to just be a little rover learning the environment and stealing stuff with no enemies tbh
This game is very polished and i liked visuals. But it's very annoying,i can't do anything against the enemy and controls are very discomfort.
But overall good work!
