Hello, one more thing, I plan to host the next jam at the end of this year. You are welcome to participate in the next jam. Sure. By the way, if you want to use other BASIC dialects to develop games, this page's detailed tutorials may be quite useful: /board/5444322/comprehensive-learning-materials-for-basic . Bye and good luck.

Hi, I am sorry to tell you that this entry does not follow the following game jam rule, This entry was released 66 days ago. Thus, it was disqualified:

“6. Old games are not accepted as entries. Old games are games which were released before this jam starts.”

Sorry could not play the game. Seems it was uploaded before the jam began.

It's a bit of a lift to find, download and install a separate emulator to play the game.  I did find that I could load the .d64 file in this online commodore 64 emulator:
https://c64online.com/c64-online-emulator/

But even at that and looking at the source, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do.  I can move back and forth, but that just seems to result in "goblins making me broke".

Also, it looks like the assets were uploaded 65 days ago.  How was this built during the game jam?

As a huge fan of text adventures and having played them as a child, I expected and hoped for a lot from this.

I admit that I "cheated" enough to translate this to BazzBasic because I don't have a C64 emulator.

But I couldn't really figure out how to play this until i ported this from source, which is something average Joe wont do.

I don't think the player should be left with so much need to figure it out themselves, but a short manual explaining what, how and why.

Developer

you’re absolutely right.

i’ll work on it soon.

thank you.

Hello,
Can you tell us how to run the game? Thanks. And iust curious, I have one more question. Which BASIC dialect was used to develop this entry?

Submitted

I assume it is C64 basic.

Host

Thanks. The author of the game should have told us which emulator to use to play this game.

Developer

Hi, please use the VICE Commodore 64 emulator.

If you need more instructions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Host

Hi, thank you!
