The art is the best part of this game, but the gameplay itself is fine too. Simple, although letting the slimes damage your tree feels counterintuitive, but mostly because you'd expect being able to damage them before that. The movement is a bit slow too, I think the game would really benefit from a dash mechanic of some sort. Other than that, good work!
