Seems like I am a pro, nailed it first try. But it think you should increase the light level in the real robbery a tiny bit, it is very hard to see the lasers because the visibilty is soooo tiny. Game could benefit from a few sounds.
The Intro is very cool, that i can choose between 5 cute characters is great. The first room reminds me of choosing a pokemon from professor oak ;)
Well done!

A fun little game, the graphics are nice, the character selection too

Got the bear back :)

The tutorial was super easy and once the actual game started I realized how important the simulation was! Love the art style and character options too. Great game!

Fun and visually appealing game with a satisfying, tight experience.

The simulation setup took a moment to click, but it really paid off once the level started, and it’s easy to see it scaling to more challenging layouts.

Definitely got my heartbeat going up and down! Love the concept of having to memorize the map and avoid lasers!

Developer

Thanks for playing <3

Fun game and looks great too! I was not sure why I was doing the simulation and almost got bored, but then I got into the level and was like "Oh crap, good thing I just did that simulation". Didn't have to restart at all. I can see this getting extremely difficult with slightly more complex or long layouts, so good job on making a tight experience.

Thanks for your feedback! I am glad you enjoyed the game. I am definitely looking forward to updating the level with a more elaborate layout so that finding a good route is more of a puzzle and execution challenge in the dark.

It was fun! Love the graphics and intro scene. Adding Braille was a nice touch :3

Developer

Thanks for playing! You're the first person to notice the Braille!

Nice game! Good use of the assets. I would like to have more levels, with less light on the player, or being fully blind, which would be very interesting. Congrats on the entry!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! It's interesting how some people want less light and some want more! Maybe that means, it's just right :D

Nice, the concept is cute, and the art is used to very good effect. Having a thief for hire for a teddy bear heist is delightful, and I liked the mechanic of simulating the level before going in, both as a way to make it more achievable first try and as a little tutorial. Some extra sound effects would be great!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Good audio was definitely one of the things that I ran out of time to imlpement, haha. I hope to add some nice sound effects after the voting period is up.

The art is very cute. The simulation feels like a map to memorize. I think the game would benefit from having a slightly larger light radius.

It’s a great game; I really liked the pixel art. But I thought the hitboxes for the laser beams were a bit rough.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Do you think a coyote timer on the lasers would make it feel better?

Submitted

I hope so. It might also be worth adding an indicator above the drone to show that it’s about to spot you

I enjoy the concept and that you can get the layout of the place before going in when it's dark had fun playing it great job!

I like the character selection. Definitely would love to see some more levels, bigger area, or more items to steal.

Good game!

Art style fits perfectly. Love the enviornment and the challenge!

First time playing I thought the radius you can see is a bit too small but after multiple rounds it did not bother me at all and I think it is fitting.

I would have loved a free roam mode because that museum looked way too interesting to be hidden in the dark!

Great work!

Developer

I did actually make a "Safe Mode / Explore Mode" but I turned it off for the jam build because the level was too simple. My goal after the jam is to build a larger and more interesting level with moving drones that patrol along paths -- so, a free roam mode would be fun!

great!
