I loved the lighting and visual style of the game! I wasn't able to figure out how to win unfortunately, but it was fun sneaking around! Nice entry! :D

great job at menu and the transition system, i dindn't actually find out how to win but it's a great idea and concept
Art is cool, music is good too. Maybe have the stealing going on faster? stealing the bed was horrible long ;)
Did not see you had such a short time to develop this at first, but you have made a really great job I mean there are some bugs of course but the overall gameloop is quite complete ! Congrats on your entry !
well I can't leave I've pressed most of every button on my keyboard, but it was still fun to play even if I could get any money
Good game! The main menu looks clean. It's funny that you can steal even the bed, haha! But I tried too many times and there is no timing to do that, the guard always catches me when is almost stolen. Also, when I first entered I got busted instantly. The guard should spawn far from the spawn point. Beside that, good job! Congrats on the entry!
It's impressive that you managed to develop this in 16 hours, I usually bare even get to the barebones of the gameplay in that time. My favourite part was the main menu, with the animations and everything.
Some notes that I took:
- I was able to progress on two items at the same time, not sure if it's intentional or not.
- I expected the interaction with the escape area to be similar as stealing items (get near, press and maybe hold a key). I didn't realize I had to use the mouse because I didn't have to before.
- Also, when I clicked on the escape button, I got busted even though the enemy wasn't even nearby. Tried to escape multiple times, but it always said Busted for some reason.
- Then while on the Busted screen I was typing this comment, and somehow I got busted again without even navigating away from that screen. I know it's a different one because the money lost amount changed.
- Some more indication of the enemy's line of sight, danger zone or however we call it, would be useful, because I had no idea where to go, sometimes it walked right past me, other times it caught me from afar.
I like the premise of going on missions, sneaking and stealing things. The top-down missions were fun.
It was not clear when I am safe and when I can get caught. Some indication of that would be nice.
Also it took me too long time to figure out that I need to *click* the button to escape. It was not intuitive, since movement and stealing actions are controled by keys.
When I returned from the mission game says I was busted, which was confusing, because on home screen I've seen that I actually earned some money.
There are some other bugs here and there, but for something made in two days, it is good.
Simple and cute game. I was first confused why I got caught but it seems like they just spot me? Thought I just don’t have to steal infront of them.
But stealing something big with a loading bar felt satisfying.
