Do you want to be considered for prizing?
Yes.

How does your game relate to the theme/how did you interpret the theme?
We integrated visibility as a core theme of the game, making it a search through a minimalist environment to scan for enemies you normally can't see. We envisioned the gameplay loop as encouraging the player to respond when the enemy reveals themselves, destroying them before they can be destroyed in turn. We turned this into an analogy for how we respond to social cues in real life, mostly by training the player to look sharp and act fast before they get blown up. We also wanted to contextualize the theme via a sparse story. In it, we tried to flesh out the protagonist as someone who's trying to push back against the social norms that wrong those who don't adapt to them. The best way to put it is that we tackled "visibility of the self" - what we reveal about ourselves or keep hidden in fear of pushback - versus "visibility of others" - what we have to respond to, both in the game and in everyday life. We sought to integrate this sort of dynamic into the gameplay by weighing this with invisibility; both the player and enemies intend to go unseen, only revealing themselves when necessary. Altogether, we wanted to apply the game jam's theme as a reflection to the social games we're all used to playing in real life.

Love the controls, some refining would make it even more addicting to shoot down the enemies.
