Creative look and gameplay, good little game! The jumping is a bit floaty, but it's nothing that can't be tweaked.
Good job!

Did you credit all assets in-game (including your own) as required by the rules?
How did you implement the focus of the jam, retro platformer?
Our team were trying to create a Tron inspired platformer, where the player creates a path for them to be able cross through obstacles, with an 8-bit style pixel art. It felt like one of those games you find in a swap meet, where it's so obscure and levels are missing or audio. Honestly, it was a great experience to work with pixel art as I had no idea what I was doing as I had to search through the web/unity documentation to revisit information I forgot.

This game has a great color scheme, the idea of the blocks are nice. I would love to hear some sounds and music. ANd I also think the game is a bit to punishfull (maybe I am to unskilled xD) All in all a good, challanging game
Very fun game, love the graphics and the color scheme! The idea of placing blocks is quite fun and challenging! Would add some music and sounds :)
That's a fun game! But for some reason no sound and music were not working for me :(
Totally worth spending some time chilling and making the path, though I wish death to be more merciful (or have some count of lives).
Nevertheless, great job!
Cute art, fun concept. The controls were awkward at first and I felt really deflated dying pretty far in and going all the way back to the start, but the idea here is really good, could be fun if maybe this mechanic were applied to single-screen levels and it was about placing a limited number of blocks to make it through? I liked it.
I really like the idea of placing your own walls to progress. I found the controls a bit hard to manage though, since moving, jumping, and placing blocks at the same time felt quite demanding. I was able to move and jump with a gamepad, so mapping the block action to a controller button could make it feel much better.
The concept of building with blocks is interesting. Kind of a 2d Minecraft. The controls are awkward and some on screen help would have been nice. Probably the building could be much easier with a mouse even if that is not perhaps retro.
