What a distinct art syle! very cool to see such a polished entry in the jam. Im also a sucker for games about blacksmiths. Just very neat all round, hope you had fun jammmmin ✨

This was super fun to play! Love the art style as well.

Amazing art style, music really fits and a fun mechanic with the choices each act. Only other comment I have is that it was unclear to me how some of the choices interacted with the success probability, but it's possible I was just missing something! Great work - best looking game I've seen so far this jam!

Great aesthetics and very well balanced! The mechanics felt simple but intentional.

Top Notch presentation! Loved all the transitions, I played it until I beat it :3

The art was really cool! The whole game feels very cohesive and polished, good work!

I like this kind of art style. It reminds me of Paper Mario. I also liked the laughter of the guy who came when you pressed the ? card.

This game has a pretty fantastic style to it

Hey, this game was super polished for such as short development time! I really enjoyed it and it reminded me of Slay the Spire. I wish there was a way to increase the speed on the leaf transition though. Great job!

Developer

Thank you so much for your feedback and for liking the game. The transition of the leaves is slow the first time it appears, but it speeds up afterward. Still, maybe we should have made it faster.

I really liked it, the artistic side is incredible, and the leaf transition works well. I would’ve liked a place for achievements with different game milestones.

In such a short time?! This jam is a gem! Great job!

Thanks for the comment!!

Yes, the art, development, and concept were all created in just seven days specifically for the theme we chose. It was a lot of hard work over those days, and we would have loved to include more animations and a few mini-games in the game. But in any case, it turned out to be a solid and fun game if you give it a couple of tries.

Just wow.

Well done making such an amazing game in that time. you really know what you're doing. 10/10

The Art!! The animations!! The music and sound design!! The polish!!! What an absolute gem!

A very fun game. I played several play-through to test different builds and the replayability is great. The take on the theme is inspired and well realized. Congrats

Thank you so much for playing it multiple times!! I have to admit that when we first managed to play through the whole game—which was just a few hours before the jam ended—it was impossible to get past Act 4. So we adjusted the difficulty quite a bit to make it possible to beat it after a couple of tries.

Really lovely art and sound on this, very nicely polished, Nicely putting the theme into it too, The leafy scene transitions were so smooth! Nice job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks, Nhatan. The leaf animation was the first thing we did. Hanchon handled it. We would have loved to animate all the scenes—we had planned to animate the fire, the trees, the forge...—but we didn't have enough time, so the leaves ended up being the main animation. They actually turned out really well. Thanks for your post!!

Soft spot for collage art, first off.

Great use of theme, this game functions really smoothly for a game made in 9 days. Only critique is that some of the colored text blends a bit too much with the background which can be a readability issue for some. Otherwise, great work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much, Juno!. Yes, we were short on time and there are still a few details that need to be improved. I agree with you about the colors in some of the text.

Cool game. Art really shines in this one. Awesome transitions and good use of theme!

Submitted(+2)

Art was delightful. The transitions actually looked really pretty when not on full screen mode cause it blended with the page. Got so into getting my forge probability up that I ran out of stamina lol.

Really fun game! Felt very polished!

Great game. Love the scene transitions and paper ascetic. Feels really fun. Too bad I failed.
