Very nice art, the whole UI looks very polished and easy to read. Impressive you managed to build a leaderboard in the jam time! Hope you enjoyed the jam - I also love my score telling me im worthy of an attentive chamber audience xxx
The art on this is great, I just dont know if the music is properly synced with the notes. THANK YOU though for adding a way to change the key mapping - this is such a good feature as someone who plays 4 key rhythm games with DFJK as my inputs
As of writing this I am HUE on the leaderboards, please let me know if you beat my scores I would like to go back and forth.
I love that it uses classical music! It was really hard, but the whole game felt really polished to me. Also I like the 'A most unfortunate performance; even the harpsicord' line.
I am SO here for this classical music rhythm game, even I’m shocking at it. (Gonna climb the leaderboard eventually)
Way too difficult from the get-go! But finely polished.
Thanks for commenting and playing :)
i like the aesthetic of it all, the whole UI and the composers art is funny. I wish I was better at this games.
pretty cool take on rythm games to use classical music!
You’re very kind! Thanks for playing and commenting.
The band definitely had to play on for me, very bad at this game, but great job with it! Really nicely polished!
Thanks a lot for playing and commenting. :)
Dang this one is really good. I'm an amateur pianist irl so I have to say that I missed the button presses being exactly on beat with the music, but this was really good and enjoyable. The UI looks extremely polished and good job on not overscoping, loved it!
Thanks for commenting and playing, I’d like to improve that aspect in the future :)
Bit too difficult for me! I’ve never been any good at rhythm games.
Thanks for playing and commenting as well, I appreciate it.
Cool game really well put together. I wish the arrows were bigger. I liked the art und the theme is good implemented!
I’ll keep that detail about the size in mind for the future! Thanks for playing and commenting :)
Super impressed with how this game looks. I loved the sunglasses on all the composers that was great and being able to choose the controls before starting was a really awesome accessible feature. Everything is really intuitive to understand and pick up as well. Great work :)
Thank you very much for commenting and for the support. :)
The visuals here are incredible (I really love the sunglasses on the portraits)! I'm incredibly impressed with how polished so much of this is and features like the key bindings. highscores and the 'descriptions' rating your performance. The patterns also looked good to me, however, I think there was a sync issue, so they didn't seem to line up with the music, which was a shame given how core this is for the game/concept. Overall, really great work, well done!
Thanks for playing and commenting. I wrote a Python script to analyze songs and generate patterns, then adjusted them a bit manually, but time didn’t allow me to make the patterns more solid. I’ll try to improve it in the future. Your feedback is really helpful, so thanks again :)
So cool that you generated patterns! Another super impressive thing about this game! :)
Well made! the only thing that kept getting me for a bit was I thought I had to line up the note with the smaller box below with the key bind in it.
Thanks for playing. You’re right, it might be a bit confusing. I’ll think about how to make it clearer, maybe by placing it on top instead of below.
This is a really great game, it looks fantastic, and I love the art style and the music you chose. Even though it’s a fairly common game style, it looks very polished and high-quality. Congratulations!
Thanks for commenting, I’m glad you liked it.
This was fun, but I really stink at this kind of game. awesome visuals!!
Thanks for commenting, you’re very kind.
The visuals and gameplay are both very smooth. I love the music choice too, and the leaderboard is a really nice touch. My biggest critique is that the notes don't seem to follow the melody, so the gameplay feels a little disjointed from the music. It's still a really solid foundation though!
Thanks for your feedback, I’ll try to improve that detail. I wrote a Python script that helped me choose the timing of the songs, but time didn’t allow for a very polished result.
Nice art! I also liked that you added an the option to rebind the keys :)
Thanks for playing and commenting. :)
Good-looking game and nice UI presentation. I liked that it lets you rebind the keys too; that was a nice touch.
Thanks for playing, and your feedback is very helpful.
I can't resist a leaderboard. Got the high score in all of them (for now)
I don't know it its the arrows going up compared to down in most rhythm games or something else, but it was quite difficult.
I think you’re really good at this type of game! Thanks for playing.
No, not at all. I just figured out you did not penalize wrong inputs, and mashed all buttons :D
Oops, I didn’t have much time
