Hello everyone! I'm working on a cozy knitting game for my capstone project, and in need of an artist! I've posted about this project before, but the situation has changed so I figured I should write a new post for clarity.
The gameplay will consist of timing inputs to successfully knit a project, and the player will discover the main character's thoughts in the process! The game screen will be first person pov of yarn and knitting needles (and hands if possible!) and I'm thinking of a very simplistic style (Hammer time from Bits and Bops/line art, like the knitting diagrams online?) I don't think there will be much character design, background design, etc. While there isn't a lot happening on screen, I think the movement of the yarn and needle might be a bit tricky to draw or animate. I'm open to suggestions on the concept art or overall art style!
As for the timeline, I need to submit a gameplay video sometime this fall (probably October), and ideally I would like to have about 2 levels complete by summer.
