Interesting gameplay, I personally love challenging minigames and "lockpick" mechanics, but the hacking theme could be more obvious and the learning curve could be more friendly!

Thanks, I really appreciate the feedback! I can see your point about the learning curve and the theme not being very prominent. I’ll keep that in mind moving forward.

I really like the art and the mini games but it doesnt actually feel like you are hacking,it just feels like mini games, maybe try to lean more into that aspect but asides from that its a goodgame.if you have time heres my game:/jam/godot-wild-jam-91/rate/4407358

Happy to hear you enjoyed. I see what you mean about it not really feeling like hacking. I’ll try to lean more into that aspect and make the experience feel more cohesive on my next game jam.  Thank for the feedback, I’ll definitely check out your game.

I liked the mini-game ideas and audio.

In addition with the items mentioned in the other comments, in the game bar it seems to request 4 correct hits instead of the three displayed in the label. Also in the game bar, the green bar spawned once in a point that seems unreachable, too far in the right, although it might be my lack of skills :D

Developer

Thanks a lot for your feedback, I’m  glad you enjoyed the mini-game ideas and the audio.

Regarding the bar game, it looks like I may have made a mistake when calculating the number of required correct hits. As for the green bar spawning too far to the right, it's likely an issue with how I set up the spawn positions. I’ll review those settings and fix it once the jam is over.

Faced a similar issue as the other comments!

Agree with the other comment. The bar game's hitbox seems to be inaccurate or there's an input delay. And on the arrow game you can just press the arrows whilst they are being displayed, a bit cheesy ^^ And when you do it too fast the game will overlay another set of arrows on top.

Fair points, it’s a bit chaotic by design, but glad you gave it a go!

The game didn't respond to input properly. And I'd recommend improvements on visual reactions to inputs, especially for the arrow game. The interpretation is really interesting but I wish it showed more in the actual game. The art style is more cartoonish and isn't giving hacker vibes.

Thanks for the feedback! I didn’t have enough time to properly playtest or polish the game, which probably caused the input issues and lack of visual feedback. After replaying it, I also noticed a few other bugs, like not gaining money after a certain point. Sorry for the issues — I hope you still enjoyed it a bit!
