How did you implement the Theme?
I implemented the theme of micromanagement by having you be a manager controlling a security camera, making sure all of your employees are working.

How did you add the Special Object?
The special object was added as it is randomly dropped on the ground, and by picking it up you gain some money back that you would have lost from your employees slacking off.

What tools and 3rd party assets did you use?
Game Engine - Godot

Fun, simple game! I kept getting distracted clicking on the cats nose on the poster, we added a identical Easter egg in our game lol!

Developer

I'm so glad that someone noticed the meowing cat posters, thanks for playing!

A simple yet fun game, probably one of my favorites in the whole jam. i loved the fact every worker looked like shrimps, pretty accurate.
Only thing i could say that could improve the game is maybe adding a timer left or how much money have you made during the day. Great game!

Developer

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate the fact that you called it "one of your favorites". I tried really hard just to make a fun game and not much more. The workers looking like a shrimp is a complete coincidence (as with most things in my game it seems) but looking back I can see what you mean. I did consider adding a timer or showing the players money, but if I had of added these things I feel the end of round scene would have been a lot less suspenceful. Thanks for giving my game a go!

I didn't expect it but this is one of my favourites of the jam so far. It has a really funny concept that's simple and well executed. Love the royalty-free audio, scatched an itch I wasn't prepared for and made me laugh.  Only critique I have is your implementation of the special object. It felt random and didn't appear to belong to the gameloop in any shape or form. Otherwise, fantastic game dude/ma'am!

Thanks bro, I really appreciate your comment. I tried my hardest to make the gameplay entertaining and to not aim for a big and complex game. With the special object the reason it might seem a bit out of place was because it was mainly an afterthought when coming up with the idea, but I did find that when playing the game myself it did help me make it just one or two levels further. All in all, I really appreciate you playing!

I really liked this art style, it reminded me a bit of those FNAF cutscenes between levels. A simple yet engaging gameplay and you've got a really nice game : ) Good job!

Developer

The style was by no means intentionally meant to look like the fnaf cutscenes, so i guess well just call it a happy accident!

It was a simple and fun experience. It’s really nice that you used your own drawings instead of AI.

Developer

I like how you can immediately tell it was my own drawings lol. but yeah, i didn't really have time to make the game so i just threw together some pixel art drawings I did and decided to focus more on the gameplay and making a fun game with a good loop and progression

This reminds me of that one game you're teacher and you have to make sure your students aren't playing games on the pc instead of doing their work. I love the idea, art is actually nice- i like the feel of it. controls smooth, gameplay loop smooth.

Thanks, I appreciate you playing it!
