The engine I use preloads most of the assets such as tilemaps, sprites and audio so it was mostly a case of building the levels and creating the gameplay, dialogue and puzzles etc which saves a boat load of time but it was still a lot to do so I am pleased with how it came out :)
Really good game! Surprised you had time to make all of this. I think I got softlocked in a room at some point and had to restart, but aside from that it was pretty enjoyable!

Not sure how you could be softlocked since the game autosaves after every screen transitionand you can manually save at any time, but I will look into it :)

this game is good but it took me forever to get the first key and i didn't really understand the 4 levers puzzle. (had a lot of fun though!)

Love this! You did a lot with not much and like every room has something different going on. Font is a bit hard to read but my eyes aren't good anymore, so that's on me LOL. Can't get past the curtain puzzle but IDK it's a cool game so will try again later!

I actually didn't use the whole jam time frame, I just got my head down and cracked on for hours at a time.
The engine I use already has assets pre-loaded like sprites and tiles etc which saves me a lot of time, so it was just a matter of making the game and gameplay.
