Shooting the gun is actually really satisfying with the screen shake and the other effects! I really like the little guy who is the thumbnail and who you play as, he's really cute!
Really liked the player character art, and had fun blasting those red rectangles with the gun! Well done for getting this much done and submitting!
Character was good and base mechanics were there, just needs more time to cook. Wasn’t sure what a shooter had to do with the weather though.
Shooter was supposed to steal skills to survive against upcoming harsh weather event.

While incomplete, the character was solid in terms of both appearance and how it controlled and shooting felt nice.

Like everyone else has said, the character design is pretty good. I'm also curious what other gameplay elements you had in mind to match the theme. Maybe all the enemies were weather based? I would have loved to see a cowboy trying to shoot a cloud in an attempt to stop incoming weather.
Idea was about to steal skill card from enemies to avoid weather side effect, like weather - heat wave, skill needed - cooldown.

After the jam, you should definitely try to finish it! I’m really glad to see that, despite the issues you may have had, you still decided to publish it. Not only does it show that you don’t want to give up, but it also sparked curiosity in some of us for sure.
I’ll be following the game! hopefully I’ll see updates in my feed and get to try it again once it’s finished.

I think you spent all your time on that character, indeed the design is very neat.
I understand the game is unfinished, but I can't help but wonder: what game idea did you have in mind? A top-down shooter about weather forecasting sounds so wild I can barely imagine what was the forecasted direction
I like the main character and the gun firing animation, this is promising, very glad you entered what you got finished, thats very much the spirit of the jam! Hope you had fun

Love the character design and animations. It would've been cool to see what this would've turned into but it was a neat little submission. I had fun running around shooting the enemies, the gun shot effects were a nice touch and I love me some screen shake. Nice work!

Even though it's incomplete, there are definitely some nice wins here already. I liked the main character's idle/walk animation, the gun smoke effect when shooting, and the character sprite itself looks good. The camera shake on each shot was a nice touch too and helped give it a bit more impact.

It’s a shame it’s not finished, the character has a lot of potential, it’s really cool, and I like how the gun moves when you move the mouse.
Due to collage stuff, couldn't make full but still submitting what I have done in 1 day. No shame btw.
