Really interesting game, got much polish, good sound design and interesting mechanics. What could be improved is that I didn't quite understand what I was supposed to do without your explanation, but other than that really good game for 36 hours.

Thank you so much for your praise! I'm so glad you enjoyed the sound design and overall production—it means a lot to me because that 36-hour production process was a real marathon!

You're absolutely right about the lack of clear guidance; I didn't do a great job with the trade-offs. Thanks for the honest feedback, it helps a lot!

Nice game! It was a bit confusing at first, but your comment really helped. It’s an interesting balance between managing oxygen and dividing by 10. Such a fun game! I managed to reach 300 points, I hope that’s a good score?

Thank you for your review! I'm glad the comment helped you. Maintaining oxygen levels while handling numerical logic is indeed challenging; 300 points is a very impressive score (many first-time players might not even reach half that)! Thank you so much for playing my game!

Game Guide & Mechanics Overview 🧗‍♂️

Since some of the deeper mechanics aren't explicitly explained in-game yet, here is a quick guide to help you conquer the peak!

1. The Basics: Altitude & Oxygen

  • Altitude (m): The numbers on the cards represent meters. Your goal is to stack them to reach the summit.
  • Oxygen: Your air supply depletes over time, and the decay rate increases as you go higher.
  • Recovery: Placing any card restores some oxygen. Tip: Oxygen consumption only begins after you place your first card.

2. Phase 2: The Rule of Ten (50m+)

  • Once you cross 50m, the game enters Phase 2.
  • Every 5 cards placed, your total height MUST be a multiple of 10m (e.g., 60, 70, 80...).
  • If you fail this "Checkpoint" check, it's game over!

3. Advanced Blocks: Super & Tent

  • Super Block (Yellow): Placing 4 cards of the same terrain in a row awards a "Super Block". Its height automatically adapts to fill the gap to the next 10m mark.
  • Tent Block (Red): * How to get: Awarded if you place a Super Block with a value of exactly 10, or when you cross every 100m milestone.
    • Effects: Instantly refills oxygen (via tween), clears all frozen card slots, and resets your Phase 2 card counter.
    • Resting: If a Tent is on top and your oxygen is 100%, oxygen decay and hazards (Wind/Freeze) will pause.

4. Hazards

  • Wind (>25m): Randomly shakes your stack.
  • Freeze (>35m): Ices over a card slot; click it 3 times to break the ice.
  • Hypoxia (>45m): Causes the screen to pulse with a purple blur.
