THAT WAS SUPER FUN!!!

This game was awesome, voice acting was good, the little minigames were entertaining, the environment made me thing this was going to be a horror game but the fact that it wasnt sort of made everything funnier to me, the fact I was having a gun pointed at me, and the game really made me hate that guy, YES JOHN I DID HEAR ABOUT THE NEW GUY, STOP ASKING! A couple points I wanted to bring up were that I never actually used the camera cuz you could just hear him coming (which i liked) or you could just hide the coin the moment you hear him start speaking. I encountered a glitch when i answered the question too fast and he sort of just stood there, then he was at my other door and I just ended up having 2 people talking to me at once, this didn't effect game play or anything and it was honestly just pretty funny. And lastly a win screen would have been nice but I get that its a game jam and were on a limited time. Overall very entertaining game, I really enjoyed it!

Developer

Thank you so much for your feedback and kind words.

Originally the coworkers would spot the coin instantly, making the camera necessary, however we decided it wasn't as fun so it was nerfed.

We should have definitely added an indicator to suggest that the coworker is ready for you to reply, resulting in what you  saw with coworkers piling up on each other!

Thanks again for playing!

yeah, i agree that its probably more fun with some leniency. also maybe you could have made it so that you could only answer onces hes done talking or something, im not really sure how i managed to do it though because he just stood there then i see the same guy in the other door way and then both of them left at the same time, pretty funny tho

I was truly caught by the game. Finished it. I was worried about not being able to complete some puzzles initially (the maze one is really weird to control). Got to be honest I expected a punchline or something at the end of the tasks or something, or some bigger event due to the cursed coin. It ended abruptly. Nice idea overall, love the execution. Good luck if it goes further!

We had an end cutscene planned but y'know how it is, time pressure x) Thank you for your kind words, well done for completing your shift!

Developer(+1)

Thank  you! We thought yours was funny too!

A subtitle could be good :D But intresting idea, its very compelx, lot things to do

Developer(+1)

We did try and shoot for subtitles, but there were a lot of edge case scenarios that we decided it was better to scrap it than ship it unfinished. Thanks for your feedback :)

Within this time, its well made! :)

looks interesting but unfortunately my English is too bad to understand what is happening in the game.

the voice acting is top!

Developer

Haha thanks and sorry for not translating it!

phew this was stressful, but fun :D the dialogue lines of the co-worker were amazingly annoying haha, nice job!

Developer(+1)

Thats exactly what we were going for, perfect! Thanks for the nice words, Access (one of our devs) will be happy to hear you liked his lines!

Amazing game, the gameplay is great and losing the first time (via gun) scared the crap out of me lmao.

The coworkers are a really good mechanic that's genuinely distracting from what you have to work on, especially since you have to pay attention to what they're saying in order to decide what to answer them with (since some answers make him go away faster it seems). Great voice actor btw (assuming so since there's that one seemingly custom voiceline about the cursed coin). A few things I'd want to mention as constructive criticism is that the connect task has some squares cover over the numbers if you're unlucky, making it kind of hard to click the next tile since the number you need to find can get obstructed by another tile. The maze game is also a bit frustrating to play, since the player sort of sticks to the walls and doesn't slide against them (though this does add to the task difficulty a bit so idk maybe it's just part of the experience lol). I also don't know if this is just me playing the game wrong but I kind of found no reason to use the cameras during any of my runs, making me sort of wonder why it's a feature in the game. Still, the game is honestly great and I think if it were expanded I could see a difficulty-related community (like fnaf max-mode or speedrunners) playing it. Great Job!

Thanks for the feedback, and yup all custom voicelines by one of out devs Access! He insisted on doing every co worker himself lol. Initially co workers would spot the coin the moment they walked up to the room, thus the need for the camera to keep track of when they would walk up to hide the coin before they arrived but this was scrapped!

Very fun and stressful that co-worker knows what he was doing.

Developer

He knew exactly what he was doing. Thanks for the kind words!

I really liked it man, very absurd and fun. Specially the co-workers voices.

Developer(+1)

Thank you!! Access (one of our devs) voiced all of them!
