This is one of the more unhinged games I've reviewed in this jam (in a good way). Magical alligators breaking free and attempting to escape a corrupted palace that represents the corrupting influence of extreme opulence? Sounds like a good time to me.

Like the other comments have said, I do wish this had been edited a bit to improve readability. As much as I enjoy the vibes that this game is being explained during a semi-coherent rant from a friend after a long night of drinking, I would like to actually play it. I think right now, the core gameplay loop is definitely playable, but I think with about an hour of editing work, it could probably be extremely playable and very fun.

Good luck with the game! Excited to see if this idea goes somewhere!

I love this bonkers concept! I was a little confused reading through the rules, and wish a little more time and explanation was given to some of the ideas.

I really enjoy the various arena powers the gators can get. There's some fun ways to play with the dice pool. I hope to see this further developed!

It's amazing how much more that intro paragraph adds to pull you into the game than the title and front page!  I did not expect Versailles and fractured reality as setting elements at all, and I wish there was a way to make them more obvious/apparent from the get-go, because it's exactly the sort of deranged amalgam that I love to run for my players.  I hope you keep evolving this!

Might not be able to maintain variety for a long campaign, but that’s not what it’s going for. It’s a blast while it lasts!
