We interpreted the theme by taking its literal meaning and figurative meaning. You are literally going to town on the enemies and your in a town.

Haha nice game! Really enjoyed the enemy sprites as well as the different levels and all their detail, like the chess board with pieces on it and the different classrooms. Well done!

Kids These DaysThe music pulled me in deep. I lost myself inside this game. Very silly and VERY fun. The design of the different rooms was delightful and it was enough to get me to brave a room full of baddies just so I could keep exploring.
I found myself getting very disoriented during the scene transitions (such as when you first exit the tutorial room). It was also difficult to tell how close the enemies really were and at what distance they would start to cause me to lose sanity.
Overall, though, this was just a whole lot of fun!

Tainted Rodentspretty insane game. The sound effects and visuals are a fever dream so well done there. Also shooting through a school is pretty insane by itself.
I'd kill for a gun that shoots faster and some feedback on when I hit something (vfx, sfx, or knockback). Making the player get knocked back when attacked would be welcome as well.
