How did you interpret the theme?
This was my partners (@verdejunkrat) idea! Since "GO TO TOWN" can be defined as "do something thoroughly, enthusiastically, or extravagantly." they thought of doing something sports related! Specifically baseball!
I thought it was fitting, since Towns also have "Homes" so....yeah!-
Also, its a rythm game for the same reason of the meaning and because I just thought it'd be fun to make jsjsj

Great game !! Well done, it could be amazing to add a really short slow motion or freeze frame when hitting the bal + screen shake to add more juice, otherwise really cool !

I like your interpretation of the jam's theme, and the overall polish. The gameplay is very engaging, and moving around to whack things is really responsive! At first, I didn't know I actually could move around, but having that movement included was a nice added dimension on top of the rhythmic swinging.
The visuals and style of this game are very appealing to the eye, too. Really enjoyed this one!

Awesome game, it reminds me a bit of an old flash game called Pinch Hitter 2 that I used to love. Great job with the scope its a nice complete game loop with lots of polish for such a short jam (the button hover tilt in the menus was slick!). I really dig the artstyle, the perspective of the field is spot on and the way you used little dots of brown pixels in the horizon works so well. The gameover frame of Butters is hilarious lol. Butters feels great to control and the batting is fair and responsive, the variety of pitches was great too. Music is great too. I think there's potential to go further with this game, if you feel like it, great entry!!!

I didnt knew about that game in specific while making the game but flash games in general was an inspiration for the games aesthetic! Also, I didnt made the background, it was an irl image i shrink down and reduce the colors to fit the style lol
Aaand, atleast there are plans to post another update after the Jam is over to add the ability to make custom songs! Its already done but I dont know if I should wait till the jam is over to post it. But anyway! Again, thank you so much for your comment, I really appreciate it!!! ^^

it took me some time to realize that its a rhythm game, very cool, also music slaps
5/5 for fun, I like these types of games that you can just keep playing endlessly, and overall it reminded me of flash games I used to play, very nice.

Really fun!! I am embarassed about how long it took me to realise you could move with WASD to hit the ones on the sides, but once i figured that out and got into my trusted rythm game strategy of 'never stop clicking to the beat' i really enjoyed it. The Big shot level is great too!!
