Cool idea and cute art, though I feel like Ale specifically was unfortunately designed really unfairly. Half the time I would get hit 3 times before I even had control of my character after attacking or on phase change since a lot of her attacks are instant with no indication, and her having 80% recovery chance even at 0 health made her feel impossible. Her aside, this was cute!
Kate's spiral death trap is really hard to avoid. The battle is pretty much over when the player's legs are bound with the parry being much more difficult to use and the only way I think to get more SP. Also I think when the opponent is binded their attacks should be hindered in some way. Very fun and challenging gameplay
Could only beat Ibas, but I like Ales background music. :) The UI feels a bit clunky and some attacks need to be choreographed better so it doesn't feel unfair when they spawn in your character. The effect when moving the mouse is honestly more distracting than anything. I could see this become a full game, but just not one for me.
Really enjoyed this one, I'm a big fan of ut/dr type battle systems. The last boss is surprisingly easy lol. Some of the downsides I would say is that some attacks straight up appear on top of you, so you're basically required to read the bubbles to see which attack is coming. I mean it's not technically unfair, but kinda disrupts the flow. Also you have a bunch different moves you can use, but there's kinda no point in using anything other than slam, bind and struggle
Love boss fights in Undertale, so this game hooked me right away. The bosses are varied and immediately show what kind of attacks to expect. The restraint mechanics actually affect the character during combat, which is great.
The only issue I ran into was a softlock when I tried to remove the blindfold (I tested it 2–3 times in a row). Also, the bosses don’t seem to be arranged by difficulty - the last one was surprisingly too easy in terms of attacks and the amount of restraints.
Pretty fun lil game. I had fun with running into attacks to delete them. Though, there wasn't much explaination of the combat system.
Fun bones, i'm sure it there's fun art of a bunch or the enemies, shame i'll never see them
Definitely the game I was the most dedicated to so far! Could use some polish here and there, but it made me go all "I can beat that" on it, so that's good. Also fit the theme of the jam well.
I very much enjoyed this one! The gameplay is your typical Undertale-inspired bullet-hell with a nice parry mechanic and a lot of originality for the attacks of the enemies. Speaking of the enemies I love their designs and their bondage progression! The quality of the art and audio is very high but I wished for the MC to get more variety in the art for the bondage as well... The game also lacks a progression system as some enemies are much harder than others without knowing beforehand as there's no story nor dialogue. Still solid game and submission! Would love to see more!
There's a solid concept here, and a good amount of time was spent making the UI feel good to use, but I think it needs just a little more time in the oven. Maybe I'm just a boomer gamer, but this felt genuinely hard from the get go. I love that the sprites update to reflect current level of bondage, and the undertale influence is really cool here.
I think my main suggestion would be to have specific attacks (maybe differentiate using color) that bind, and others that damage. Same lower your health, easier to tie thing, but that little bit of knowing exactly what's coming when you get hit makes a lot of difference.
4/5 solid idea, love to see you keep working on it.
Really neat ideas here, I like the music and knowing what's coming next in the attack order is pretty awesome!
