Man, that last fish took me 5 days.... I'm like a real fisherman!
The mermaid on the right was pretty legit.
Duck 4 Life.

hahaha, enjoyed watching you play it on stream last night! Sorry about the bad RNG on the pike lmao. Stay tuned for an upcoming QoL release :)

The atmosphere of the game was great! I loved the detail that the door opens, closes, and locks. It definitely made be more on edge while playing! The lowpoly pixelated style compliments the game play.

Really great 3D modeling — I absolutely love the visual style. The final sequence was also very impressive and made the game feel like it has a lot of potential to grow into something even bigger.

Catching the duck is so tempting haha. I figured out I have to press 'Q' to pause the game so I can get my mouse cursor back into game.

Developer

yeah, this was an issue I discovered after making it playable in browser. I believe I can add a patch to my player script to prevent this from happening though. Originally I had the cancel button as ESC but Q was much safer for itch. Thank you for playing!!

I loved the game's atmosphere, and the idea is very creative. Excellent work!

Wow scared the crap out of me haha. I really like seeing a 3D game and the day night cycle. Cool duck.
The use of audio was very unsettling too. I wasn't sure what to do at some points and would've really like to sprint by holding "Shift" or something.

ah, good point. I agree the mid-game does drag a little bit and I didn't really identify much of what the objective was in-game. I can definitely improve on that in a future build. And yes I think the 'helpful duck' is my favorite little addition. Hope you saved him at the end of the game  😉

I'm glad you enjoyed the game and really appreciate the comment!

Nice game! Shame the monsters only roam small predetermined areas, it takes away the scare factor when you can see them all the time, and you know you're safe.

The artstyle is nice, and the idea of how to progress is cool!

Hey! Thanks so much for playing! I agree that they do look super "derpy" during the day after they spawn just running around haha. I will be improving the enemy scripts in a future patch. Currently they do just go around a predetermined radius so I can probably make their behavior a lot more robust.

i really liked the art style, vibe and overall feel of the game a lot. this is really well made for a game jam game. there are so many little unique systems. Very good job!

However I came across this when looking down

Developer

I really appreciate you saying that! This is my first game I've fully completed so it's a special project to me. And man! All that testing I did I didn't even think to look down on the camera and make sure the 'player' wasn't visible  😂. I'll patch that out.

Thank you for playing!
