This is peak, I'm upset itch didn't recommend me this during the jam :(

I think the Blorpo cutscene is a little too long but other than that it's really good!

This has been the most addicting game in the entire Jam, coming from deltarune / undertale learning the patterns felt quite familliar but at the same time really rewarding. Im excited to see what you will do in the future as all your game have insane attention to detail and polish!!! it have been a pleasure to finish :333

Where is opponent HP bar?

Really fun for a game made in 9 days!! i made mine in like 3 weeks and had no time for art or music

Honestly this is a really great game. The concept was done really well and it looks great too. The music is stunning and I love the pixel art (they're so derpy hehe). It's a really cool idea and I would genuinely absolutely love to see this idea be expanded on. Tbh, the only real problem I see is that the poison boss cutscene is unskippable (i think you never mentioned a skip cutscene button inside or outside the game). I struggled with that boss and I'm currently struggling with the final boss (which gives HEAVY omega flowee vibes is it just me) but in the best possible way. Everything feels like the players fault and a completely fair game. This is absolutely a top pick if I've ever seen one.

Fun little arcade game, had a blast playing it

Really cool game! I always love dash attacks in games, so this was definitely a treat with the dash and jump off hit. Also, a gimmicky health system is something I don't feel like I see often, so this was also just an overall unique experience! Good work

This concept is FANTASTIC. I could really see this working well in a roguelite setting!

The visuals on this is brilliant. The combat is very smooth. You wouldn't think this was made for a game jam.
I'd say the only thing I wasn't a fan of was the actual mechanic of needing to take damage - I thought it was a bit redundant! Just defeating the bosses is very good fun and perhaps the box you're fighting in could have been the unique mechanic somehow.
Nonetheless, this is a 5 star game!

this is so good and the end was indeed very funny, though one issue i found with this submission that i found with a lot of others is that the short felt like an ad with bad game idea said in front of it instead of an actual bad game idea short. I personally scripted our short before we even started on the game so the short is purely an idea and not a description of the game. 

I could not beat the purple guy. :)
