  • Excellent job with your not one, but two clone games. You implemented pretty much all the features and presented these really well, and with character. Great work!

THIS IS SOO GOOD. I love that you made 2 games in 1. And both have INSANE game feel. I loved the little animation when you gained a point in Flap Up. And you somehow made it feel good to die πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚The art style is amazing as well, my only issue is that the pipes look out a place. The sounds effects were perfect and could've been well complimented with some nice music. I also wish in Boost Pp the character didnt feel so heavy. Overall, amazing games, you've got crazy skill with game feel.

Thanks a lot! Really appreciate the feedback πŸ™‚

I focused on making hovering easier to control, and I guess that made it feel a bit heavier.

Super helpful, thanks!

Good stuff, I really liked how the bird shows up in the second game and the ramping difficulty. Great work!

Developer

Thanks a lot! I’m glad you liked the bird cameoπŸ™‚

Very well polished couple of games, really showing off the Simple and Effective use!

Adding the animations to the Jetpack was very well done!

Given how early this was submitted, i would have LOVED to see more made but, life do its thing!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot! I’m glad you enjoyed it πŸ™‚

I actually submitted the first game early, then spent the rest of the time building the second one and combining them into a single project

Excellent! The visuals are consistent, good animations, great game feel — these are fully complete games. The mini crossovers (games within each other) strengthen the feeling of a single unified product. I especially liked Boost Up, with its mechanics perfectly translated from the original. If I had to find something to nitpick, it would be the audio feedback for tapping in Flap Up.

Developer

Thanks a lot!

Really glad you enjoyed both games 😊

The art, the game feel was outstanding. I like the fact that you used two games with the same concept and made it fun. This was awesome.

Developer

Thank you! I’m really glad you enjoyed both the art and the game feel πŸ˜„

Really nice gamefeel on both games, great animations, art, effects and music, the spinning falling animation in boost up was fun, and bouncing multiple time if you fall on a beam as you're falling is a nice touch. Also gravity strength in both was nicely tuned for difficulty

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks!

The repeated bouncing on the beams felt a bit unfortunate but also kind of funny, so I kept it πŸ˜„

Glad you enjoyed it!

Both of these games were actually incredible. I loved the effects you added to the deaths, and the sounds associated with them. And seeing the flappy birds in the second game seriously cracked me up. You did an amazing job on this,

Thanks a lot!
The idea of bringing the Flappy Birds into the second game is one of my favorite parts, so I’m really glad you liked it πŸ˜„
