I really liked it! too short, would totally play a more complete version

Excellent experiment, you have all the components! Polishing this one up would be really interesting to see a finished version!

I was able to play the game with no problems, when I downloaded it. I was stuck on the first enemy, but it will not influence my ratings. This game was very creative and well done. I like the art and I am a fan of anything sci-fi, so this made me excited to play it. This was fully featured and the menu options are optimal.

I also had trouble at first, the browser version was appearing super glitchy, in linux. But I found out later that my graphics drivers somehow stopped working and that was probably why. Also the default game size it was trying to make it was also cut off the edges of the screen and such. It took me a while to figure out how to get past the first enemy without dying since it always seemed to be waiting for me in one spot and couldn't jump over it, but I eventually figured it out. Lots of features were added to the game and it was a full playable experience. It's pretty easy to speedrun past all the enemies once you know what you are doing.

Thanks for playing and the feedback, I've learnt I need to allow much more time for level design and playtesting and I need to get more people to playtest. Glad you got your graphics driver issue sorted out were able to play.

Developer

I'd suggest playing the downloadable versions available for linux and windows if possible as performance can be an issue for some using the web version.

Of course I already wanted to throw a portal into any of the walls — the game is literally telling you through its visuals, "I've got all that shit you love right here, now let's start making some inter-dimensional mess." That didn't happen.

It straight up lags, unfortunately you get tired of playing quickly with that kind of frame drop. I only had enough strength to beat the first steel bastard and a couple of his buddies.

Developer

Thanks for taking the time to play! Weird about the lag, I purposely played it on my work laptop as well as my desktop to make sure it performed ok on less powerful PCs and it worked fine, but a couple of people have reported issues and I got my friend to try it on their gaming laptop and they had some fps drops, hmmm.

Hey! Could you put a PC build of the game out? The browser version is lagging terribly.

Hey, thanks for letting me know, I've added a linux and windows build of the game, I'm on lunch break at work and haven't got a windows machine on hand, so haven't been able to fully test them. Let me know if you have any troubles.

Super well done. I had some performance problems but I don't know if it was the game or my browser/pc fault. On the second stage I could cheese the mine robots by shooting them from far away so hiding them a bit more would make more sense (and I could skip the cluster of mine robots by going over the building and ignoring all of them). But it's impressive, I really like it.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! I didn’t leave myself quite enough time for level design at the end 😅
