Nice game. Back to Atari 2600 :) If the difficulty with controls is intentional, maybe consider to add HP or lives when the player is hit by enemies, so that will be a room for player mistake?

Hmmm, good point! Maybe I could possibly add a shield mechanic which recharges over time like the dash and the mines.

Thanks a lot for playing <3
And for taking your time for feedback :D

It would be nice to have more control over the aim. Maybe you could do this by making it so that where the mouse is at, is where the arrow would aim. At least make it a setting. Also the controls were not really obvious and should be made more clear.

Developer

Well, not having complete control of the aim is part of the challenge, and it was a very conscous move to not have the mouse control the aim as that would make the game 10x easier!

About the controls not being obvious, I'd really like to know what exactly you feel was unclear so I can explain it better.

Thanks a lot for playing :D

Very fun game, especially the endless mode, but I think you should make the ship’s movement less slippery; it feels like it’s constantly on ice. It might make it more realistic, but it can be frustrating. Even so, I had a good time playing this, like when I mocked the enemies for killing 3 with a mine, only to be instantly killed by a black hole.

Developer

Thanks a lot for the feedback! Instead of making it less slippery, I was thinking of taking the recommendation of another player and zooming out when you go at a higher speed, that to me feels would be a better balance to offscreen dangers. What are your views on that?

Glad you enjoyed your game though! And thanks for your time!
