How does your game fit the theme?
Bad idea: You need 2 friends to play
Outside the box: You have to escape your box in the pet store (also, we think our co-op system is metaphorically pretty outside-the-box)

Thanks to everyone for the nice comments and feedback!

I (the teacher) am very proud of my two students who worked together to come up with this game and build it from scratch. Seeing their reaction to all of your nice words has been a great experience. We for sure made two new, future game developers with this jam :)

We plan to update this game and make it a series of small speedrun levels (inspired by Neon White) when the jam is over and the results are out - so please add the game to a collection of yours to stay updated.

Fun game, i enjoyed it playing alone.

It could be nice a screen at the start to choose if you are playing alone or in cooperative, so you dont have to find the settings when you see you cant shoot and discover the game was in cooperative mode.

This is a great idea! We will for sure implement this after the jam is over

😀Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the game. That’s a really solid point about the start screen—making the mode selection more visible would definitely prevent that 'why can't I shoot?' confusion. Thanks for the great idea.😁
