A really polished experience (apart from the last level wierdness). The only criticism I’d have is that the levels seem way too easy for a puzzle game. Also, the text info show hitboxes are annoyingly small.

This is a perfect idea, finally completely different and with completely different visuals. But - it would be nice if the game started where the current version ends. The preview into two times at once and into how current avtions changes the future while the past continuously changes (read: something moves in the past) is insufficiently (visually) explained. Maybe I'm a little afraid that in the current state it's difficult for a some to figure out what's going on - the cart just moves, whats the point?

I miss some building (I plant a tree, the tree grouw, dies and its stump that can be cuted down to created a bridge) or influencing the environment (I pour acid somewhere and it will etch a hole in years), etc. The potential is massive. And i want to see it all!

This is a classic platformer/puzzle game. The team tried switching programmer with graphics artist. I actually like simple readable graphics in puzzle games, but the game’s post-apocalyptic theme should definitely warrant a more mature and pronounced style.

I enjoyed playing the game, but even for a jam game it is slightly short and the team should definitely explore the mechanics more; especially the time switching mechanics and item manipulation that is transferred to future.

The jumping from narrow windows was very frustrating to me - it is hard to time precisely, the platforms are too short and window sides are easy to get in the way when switching realities. I think this part of the game should be redone.

And poor little critters in the intro. For BIVOJ!

Když se to tak vezme, Bivojové v intru jsou v podstatě “na houbách”…

I like the overall idea and the third dimension of time and puzzles connected with it. I had no major setbacks while solving them  Maybe the only thing that I really don't like here is the camera movement. It was dizzying for me and I didn't saw any usefulness to it.

And with the bug in the last level: yes, it was there, but as far as I knew it was just part of the story and the time switching still worked (although a bit differently).

I liked it and not because Im a fan of platformers and puzzle games and this is right up my alley, not at all (ok, maybe a little). The puzzles were simple, but really nice. I also like that you polished it to feel like a good platformer (e.g. jump buffer, camera movement). The jump felt a bit floaty to me, but technically this is not a pure platformer, so dont pay any attention to this feedback. Only a small note, there was one part of the level, where you had the U shape and  you had to jump and disable that. It was a bit tricky with it being small and it was more of a timing check than puzzle check. Otherwise, I enjoyed the game and wish we got more levels :D

Nice puzzle entry.

I really liked the overall polish. The movement is really good and satisfying. Some of the puzzle solutions are clever (even though at least one is impossible to not solve).

Some weaknesses I see are:
The artstyle/level design (while functional, it is very minimalistic - maybe to the detriment of the game)

The story (maybe I am dumb, but it felt way too vague to make any meaningful point about anything)

Overall very strong entry! Good job to the team.

I liked the game from the very first moment you showed it at the game jam. It is very nice and player friendly and I especially enjoy the time switching mechanics. I also find the graphics and visual very endearing, even though it is not complex at all, it is very nice and it just draws the player in.

Overall a very nice game I enjoyed a lot! Unfortunately the only thing I don't really see is the use of some of the ingredients... :{ On the other hand, the main ones are right on the nose and very well used! Overall it is a very good job and I enjoyed the game a lot.

There is a bug in last level where you end up being in some undefined state of past without ability to interact with world or ability to switch between timelines
had to peek to unstuck from this state

otherwise great game

Thanks for the review. We are aware of the bug, and will update the game soon.

I have found exit of the world in 2/3 level and soft-lock in the "bomb" level (stuck in "past") :D but really nice puzzle game

Developer

Thanks! Was it before or after interacting with the level?

When i entered the last level - instantly in past. But i was not able to switch to present and i was not able to fall to the pit in the past even though there was a hole. :D

Oh it is this bug. You can press G to unstuck :)

PS. in case you don’t want to play through whole game just for the ending, here is video of full playthrough:

Its a fun puzzle platformer with an interesting core mechanic :)

What i would definitely changed though is to change the physics of the game as soon as the transition starts rather than after. The way its done now makes the player punished for the right intentions that fail because of a game mechanic(especially when the game stops your acceleration midair, and you cant really regain it well), which leads to needless frustration.

Furthermore, the game is rather fast with some text being spread in the game world. I would rather if the texts did not disappear to let the player be playful with your movement and juiced up character feedback rather than to force him to stay still just to read a little bit of text that may or may not be relevant

Otherwise, it was a fun experience and a concept overal, i enjoyed it .)

Great idea for puzzle game. Really enjoyed the part where you push the cart in the past and see its wreck move in the present, just WOW! I can imagine a ton of puzzles using this mechanic. That being said, it is sad that we do not see so much puzzles here. The game features a few levels, which I would rather call a platformer with reality shifting than a puzzle game.

However, I greatly enjoyed it. The movement feels good. The visuals are simple but good looking. The intro cutscene is superb.

Good job guys!

Neat little puzzles. I always enjoy shifting realities :D
I managed to soft lock the game after disarming the bomb, not sure how. And then restart crashed the game.

Developer

It isn’t explained anywhere, but that is the end of the game. Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback, we plan to fix it :)
