Really really amazing art, I loved the aesthetic!
I really love the artwork, It is absolutely gorgeous! And the mysterious story was super captivating! Amazing submission!
I really love the artstyle!! The storyline seems also really interesting. The gameplay works nicely, but at some point it's just repeating the same game but bigger. And I mean, I already kinda know the best strategy for the game since it's a really popular/easy game, so it didn't feel like I was getting better at it or anything like that. Maybe something to spice up the gameplay would elevate so much more this game tbh, but looks really cool!
Edit: I watched the pitch and if the interesting part is the narrative, I would really make the card part much more simple, like the first games you play, instead of making the grid bigger each time. I mean, as far as I'm concerned, playing the card game is not that important for the experience itself and having to spend that much time doing it kinda diminishes the narrative
Thank you for the feedback! I really wanted to make something that wouldn’t break mid way through so I didn’t add as much as I’d like…
For a full release I definitely want to add more sections in between card sections (letting players find out info more naturally through the environment), and specific card abilities depending on the image (eg flipping a star would cause a twinkle that shines on all space related cards).
Unfortunately I just didn’t have time to implement it all… But I still felt the need to have some sort of progression in the game, so I tried making the card section’s difficulty match the information you’d receive afterward. Thanks for playing regardless!
Yeah, I get it, I also wanted to do more stuff in my game, but I had so much more stuff to do besides the jam that I just couldn't hahsa
I loved the art! Very cute game!
Very neat concept with the story changing as you play, I wish the cards flipped over a bit faster (or that you could work on more than one pair at a time) as it felt like a lot of time was spent waiting for cards to flip over with a time limit running making it immensely more stressful. Very good spritework, and a really cool idea, I really enjoyed finding new stuff on different runs through it.
The art style, sound and story was absolutely amazing for this game. I liked how I had to work to unlock more of the memories. As for gameplay the memory game just can be a little repetitive, but it didn't effect the story too much! I really liked playing this title and it is very impressive especially for being done in a week or so.
The artwork is absolutely amazing and to make it in only a week is insane. Premise is short and simple. Music is solid as well here, Best luck to you in the rankings!
Really cool game, loved the art direction <3
WOA that game was awesome! The artwork is very nice, and Story is intriguing, and gameplay is simple but fun! im also really biased toward card matching games lol. Overall would 100% recommend to anyone who is looking for a short but sweet, card matching, story game!
