the gameplay is really satisfying, the notes are a cute little touch on top of the rest of it. i like the simple graphics style but the outline on the mc feels a bit out of place to me with the rest of the world. loved playing it!

Very nice implementation of the seamless loop, one of the few actual seamless ones. The minigolf mechanics work well (and didn't expect seeing a game like that here). Did you model the bear yourself? It looks nice.

Developer

Thanks! Everything was modeled myself, yes. Making the level took most of the time, really.

Super fun game and I love how it implements the endless loop theme!

Really relaxing and fun. Sometimes my camera got blocked by a tree or the indicator is blocked by the elevated ground, but still really enjoy golfing.

Interesting project! The game has its own unique atmosphere that really comes through in both the music and the visuals.

Very fun mix of minigolf and platforming. I would accuse you of cheating as this was made in such a short time, but I won't because the jam limitation is so strongly implemented XD

Visuals are cozy and the gameplay feels smooth. It would be nice to see the score after the last hole so you know if you did better on the following loops. Overall a fantastic entry for the jam!

Developer(+1)

It does get a bit tiring to be accused of cheating, even jokingly, especially now that it's so easy for people to assume people use AI. I don't. I know Godot and have a million unfinished projects, so I'm pretty good at spinning up new ones and implementing basic systems.

Thanks for your compliments.

I understand. I didn't think for a second the game was made using AI. It's just so polished for such a short time frame. Maybe it would reduce some accusations if you released the games a bit closer to the jam deadline. I don't know.

Anyway you made a really cool game. Hang in there 👍

Developer(+1)

I shouldn't have to hold myself back because people are accusatory.

Submitted

That is true. Didn't mean any disrespect. Take it as a compliment when people can't understand how your projects are so good.

Submitted(+1)

Loved this, the putting felt really responsive, my only complaint is the slight moving to the right as you're golfin

Submitted(+2)

One of my favorites. Everything fits together nicely. The only complaint I have is trying to putt on a slope. You can't see the strength indicator and the ball just bounces wherever it wants. Went out of bounds one time and I had to restart.

Developer

I'm impressed you managed to get it out of bounds lol. Each hole has invisible walls around the edge that extend pretty high (but not that high).

Really good! Cute and slightly creepy vibe, and stays on the right side of cute to land

Things I loved:
- Golf controls felt great, was half-expecting a bit of jank but in fact surprisingly robust
- Fantastic overlay, perfectly executed
- Art style hitting exactly right for the cozy vibes
Things I'd love to see:
- I may have missed some, but more/changed notes on subsequent loops would've been grouse
- Platforming and golf at once! >:)

This game is extremely relaxing, artistically beautiful and relaxing music. I loved

favorite entry from the jam

I can't really say anything that hasn't been said already. Great work!

Only VERY minor issue is that depending on what angle you hit the ball from, the strength indicator clips through the course and it's kinda hard to gauge when to actually hit the ball.

It was the first game on this jam that I saw, as it was loaded quickly. I played it then and I'm happy to play it now)

Interesting work with the ball that rolled under the bridge on the penultimate hole, but the main thing is that it works)

Very creative use of the limitation! Golfing was really fun and enjoyed the challenge of a couple of the holes, great job!

You made this in THREE DAYS!??

The round viewport is super interesting and unique and the ball physics works great. Hole number 8 almost beat me, but i made it to the end. The note at the end is kinda dark! Very cute, nice work!

Developer

Thanks! And yup. It helps that I have a million unfinished projects I've started over the years. After a while you get pretty quick setting up basic systems. My goal for this jam was to deliver on style and presentation.

Notes : cute touch while providing a little bit of story<3. Parkour : great for my teeny tiny attention span to  change the gameplay a little now and then, although it does seem a bit random...unless I missed a note. Would be great if I knew if I had collected all the notes or not. Trees : Why are they all up in my face for :(

Finished the course, had fun, thank you for the game :)
