I just realized the green things on the floor i was trying to pick up might be traps.. I think others had this problem too. oops. You've got all the basics down good tho, but like others said, the steps feel weird. Technically the corridors are 2 tiles wide but it feels like we occupy 1.5 tiles?
Has potential tho!

This game is a bit on the sparse side of things. The movement does not feel very good, as the steps a to short and you can go to far up to a wall. It feels like, there isn´t really a grid. I had some issues, with enemies not being on the grid, so I could not move in front of them to attack. What are the objects on the floor? I think I never picked up anything. Maybe you should explain the systems of the game a bit more on the homepage.

I tried a few times to get to the 5th level as level 1 but I haven't beat it yet. It's a bit hard to line up the things on the floor with where you're at because it feels like the camera is really high up but it's an interesting concept. I liked the look of the 3rd level on with all the crystals hanging in the air.

I couldn't figure out the way to pick up items on the ground (or couldn't figure out if those were the items), so it was probably too hard for no reason haha.

Main issue for me was that it was really difficult to judge when I could attack enemies and when I could not. Steps are way too small - you want them be big as a tile basically. And also you kind of pass through enemies... so you take a lot of damage trying to line up your attacks and getting used to it takes time.

Other than that it has a lot going on (even change of the grain size!)!

I gave this some good tries but couldnt beat it. Got t last stage and killed 4 enemies, but then I died. Could not find any way to heal except leveling up, also couldnt find any way to switch weapon. The instructions say to use 67890 but I couldnt find a way to pick up weapons.

Only found use in the Swipe ability, couldnt find any way to avoid damage so only way to attack seemed to be to spam attack when in range. The short enemies were hard to see when you hit them, so hard to know when they died or not.

"Victory! You cleaned the facility! Floors : 5 | Dragons : 5 | Level : 3 | Trash : 7"

I restarted like a hundred times until I would reach a configuration of the 5th floor I could beat. Like the stats suggest I determined that the best strategy might be to reach the 5th floor at level 1 then win all your levels in the 5th floor to get fully healed each time because the extra levels don't seem to make a difference in your fighting skills. I only spent my energy on Sweeps in the end, couldn't see a use for Dash and have not figured out what Overclock does so at some point I stopped trying to use it.

Overall I enjoyed the game. It mostly controls well, the combat system is fine and the speed of your character as of the enemies is appropriate.

The steps are smaller than I prefer (I think they're typically twice bigger). Unless I missed something you can never switch to another weapon. Still unless I missed something I think most configurations are impossible to beat, I guess it made it all the more satisfying to eventually manage to beat the game but even as someone who don't mind unfair games I don't think the current balancing was great ;) .
