Hi all,
I’m looking for feedback on Fungus Toast, a strategy / roguelike game I’m currently polishing and balancing. I'm fairly new to game development and could use brutally honest feedback to help me (and the game) improve. The game will always be free, and I just want it to be quirky and creative gift to niche gamers.

The game is starting to come into focus, and this feels like the right time to hear from people who are wiling to get feedback to a well-intentioned stranger :)
Right now, I’d especially love feedback on:
- how the game feels on a first run
- what would make it more fun and replayable
- what kinds of roguelike progression features would make repeated runs feel worthwhile
- whether the sound effects feel good or still need a lot of work
- whether the campaign balance feels fair, too hard, frustrating, or interesting
- any other general thoughts on what works and what doesn’t
The music is getting stronger, but there’s still a lot of polish work to do overall, and I’m trying to figure out what will make Fungus Toast something people really want to come back to.
If you give it a try, I’d really appreciate any thoughts you have. Honest feedback is exactly what I need right now.
Thanks for being a part of this awesome community!
