  • Hello! I thought your game was pretty cool! I'd consider developing a full version if you felt like it. It has a really nice style but could use some combat balance and optimization. I really liked the music and visuals. The concept is pretty funny too! This would go HARD as a metroidvania. Thanks for joining the jam!
  • Great game, a little tough but that made the challenge more fun!

Who worked on your submission?
thearcabe (art, voice acting, level design), bluemariogangsta (voice acting, level design)

How does your submission fit the theme?
ok so the alien is bald and you have to kill people with cool hair to no longer be bald.

Wow this is impressive for the time limit! My only gripe is that bosses are maybe a bit over tuned, but certainly not unbeatable, I managed to beat everything and get every secret, very nice bonus :)

When it comes to the time limit I broke all my fingers in order to finish the animations on time. I am currently typing this with my nose

I hope you can get a new set of fingors soon! Also great job the effort really shows!

My first thought was idk if its really a godot game or not because of the switched up visual for it lol

This is hard, unforgiving and the monkeys keep fucking me over. I love it! It feels well thought out and i love the art style you went with! It feels nostalgic in a way!

Bucket and slide jump feel great, my favorite are the music and sound especially how the music pitch shifts when you take damage, that's a nice touch!

I loved the bucket mechanic! Boss on the second stage was a little bit too difficult, but fun experience nonetheless! The visuals are really appealing too!

a bit challenging but very fun. I LOVE the art style and the use of colors.

Looks great. Reminded of Newgrounds in the day.

The game was too hard for me to finish (I couldn't get past the second level after the tutorial, at the cook with fire). I loved everything else about the game except for the movement mechanics. The bucket was especially hard to maneuver properly, and I couldn't tell if I was doing it right most of the time.

Visuals, audio, character design, and the aesthetics of the level AAA+ tho. The animations were fluid, and it was very silly. I wish I could have finished it!

I know there's alot of other games to play, but as a note you have level 2 & 3 unlocked from the beginning, and level 3 is designed by a different person aswell, so if you couldn't get past level 2 you could give level 3 a try if you just want to see more of the game, you'll probably like it more too lol

Oh! I didn't realize that! I may go back soon to see if I can beat the 3rd level then. I did give y'all a great rating otherwise though (if you were worried about that)
